Board of Directors
John joined the Board of Directors in February of 2013. He first learned about KEEN in San Francisco while serving as President of the Golden Gate Triathlon Club in 2011. Over the next 2 years, he had the opportunity to interact with athletes at KEEN Aquatics while also helping raise money & awareness through fundraisers. He's honored to be on such a distinguished board and looks forward to seeing the organization grow.
John's adult life started after getting a BA from Hope College and then promptly heading back to Okinawa, Japan, where he grew up. After teaching in the JET Program for 5 years, John made the move back to the US and settled into life in San Francisco for 12 years. He now calls Denver, CO home where he is VP of Business Development with Presidio Sports Management.
